We partnered with Essential Honey a local producer to design and develop a full-featured e-commerce website that brings their handcrafted products to a wider audience. The goal was to create a warm, inviting online experience that reflects the brand’s natural roots while making it easy for customers to explore, learn about, and purchase their honey varieties.

Objective:
To design and launch a responsive Squarespace based online store for a local honey brand, enabling direct-to-consumer sales while conveying the brand’s natural, artisanal identity. The platform will support streamlined shopping, secure checkout, and scalable content management.

Project Scope:
1. Discovery & Planning
Conducted initial consultations to define brand voice, target audiences, and core product offerings.Developed a content strategy and site structure optimized for user experience and ease of navigation.

2. Design & Branding
Customized a modern Squarespace 7.1 template to reflect the company’s natural and handcrafted aesthetic.Applied consistent branding elements, including color palette, typography, and custom imagery, for a cohesive online presence.

3. E-Commerce Setup (Squarespace Commerce)
Configured Squarespace’s built-in commerce tools to support product catalog setup with multiple variants (e.g., sizes, flavors).Implemented intuitive product pages with high-resolution images, detailed descriptions, and SEO-friendly content.Set up secure checkout, tax rules, and shipping zones using Squarespace's native settings.

4. Mobile Optimization
Leveraged Squarespace’s responsive design framework to ensure full functionality across all devices.Tested layout adaptability and loading speed on mobile and tablet for optimal user experience.

5. SEO & Analytics Integration
